About Cherry Hills Village Sanitation District

Cherry Hills Village Sanitation District (CHVSD) was formed in 1974 as a quasi-municipal corporation and political subdivision of the State, under Title 32 of the Colorado Revised Statutes. CHVSD provides sanitary sewer service to property in Cherry Hills Village and two subdivisions in Greenwood Village. The District’s 47 miles of sewer mains collect all wastewater and send it to Englewood treatment or Denver Metro Wastewater treatment facilities where it is treated under contract with CHVSD. Additional fees for treatment are charged by Englewood and Denver Metro Wastewater which are paid by CHVSD users. CHVSD currently serves approximately 1,150 residences, plus the city offices, schools, clubs and churches.

CHVSD’s annual fees are based on water consumption from November through February when landscape irrigation is minimal. Water consumption amounts are provided by Denver Water and City of Englewood.

CHVSD's Board of Directors meet quarterly, plus a statutory budget meeting in November. All meetings are open to the public. Suggestions, comments and questions are always welcome. Our email address is CHVSanDist@aol.com, or CHVSanDist@gmail.com.
